3 Reasons Why Soy Wax Is A Lie!!!

Where do I start...

Do I start with the misleading product titles using the word "organic" to either...

 - confuse the buyer
 - mislead the buyer
 - deceive the buyer
 - lie to the buyer

Harsh right? ...I get it.

Examples...

Web page title - "Organic and Eco Friendly"

Web page content...

- "uses the highest quality organic ingredients that are locally grown whenever possible which promotes the sustainability of our environment and supports eco-friendly farmers."

 Facts...

- product used EcoSoya
- EcoSoya statement "No wax made from vegetable oil can be considered Organic."
(This is due to the process of converting the liquid oil to a solid.)
- EcoSoya statement "cannot guarantee that the soybeans we use are 100% non-GMO"

Web page content...

 - "Wax made from locally grown Non-GMO soy bean plants which are a renewable resource and cruelty free."

Facts...

 - Corporate farming, using GMO soybeans is not what "locally grown" implies.
 - At this time there is no commercially produced soy wax that comes from organically grown soybeans.
 - Soybeans that are GMO and commercially farmed with pesticides are not what I would call renewable or sustainable.

How would you read the following product title?

 - "Aromatherapy Wax Melts, 100% Organic and All Natural Wax Melts/Tarts"

Is there anyway you would consider that the wax, the primary ingredient, would be any other than organic?

Of course not. The product title suggests the "ALL" of the product is both organic and natural. Since they are using soy wax, would you agree that it is not possible for this product to be 100% organic?

Reason 1: Deception and Misinformation

There are four soy wax suppliers in the United States...

 - Cargill
 - Bunge Corporation
 - Archer, Daniels, Midlands (ADM)
 - Golden Brands

Each of the above suppliers have confirmed that their soybean crop is produced from GMO seed and commercially farmed with pesticides and insecticides.

Because of the GMO seed there are now species of invasive plants that impact our food production are today are naturally genetically resistant to Roundup. What does this mean...

 - More pesticides and insecticides are required.

Reason 2: Soybeans used to make wax are GMO, neither green nor organic

Creating soy wax...

Step 1: The process of creating soy wax starts with an extraction process that requires the use of a solvent called Hexane.

Step 2: Once the oil has been extracted from the soybeans it is bleached. You might be familiar with the chemical being used to bleach the soy oil; Chlorine.

Step 3: The soy oil is deodorized through a process of distillation.

Step 4: The soy oil is turned into a solid. This is done through a process called hydrogenation. This required a nickel catalyst.

Reason 3: Creating soy wax is not a green process

Soy wax is not organic, green and not really even natural.

Because of the deception, the GMO seed and pesticides and all of the chemicals required to produce soy wax it's pretty clear that...

When a product title or listing states that their soy wax is organic, you can trust that they either don't know what they are talking about or they are purposely deceiving you.

There is a better way...

This is why Nature's Perfect Secret has started to produce a 100% organic wax melt product.

You deserve better and we are here to make sure you have a better choice.

A healthier and greener choice.
